For the hose, go to rockauto. For my 95 Cruiser there are 5 high pressure hoses listed but 4 are identical and one matches OEM perfectly.

I purchased the hose that matches OEM and have no regrets or noise and the fitment is perfect.

This is super helpful, thanks for posting! My 96 has bad pump and leaky hoses so I ‘ll be getting one soon. I got the rebuild kit from @beno, but even he recommended going aftermarket on high pressure hose due to OEM’s cost.

Purists will want the quality Yokohama hose; most everyone else can live with this one. :)

I'm coming up on one year with a Gates pump rebuild, bearing from the local industrial supplier, high pressure hose from RockAuto, and Gates hose for the reservoir. No problems, no groaning. The previous owner was running power steering fluid and when I bought it the poor thing was groaning like crazy. I'm amazed that the vanes weren't damaged.
