What's the price on the Ironman 50L?

The plan is getting it from MT with the current sale and cheap shipping to GSMTR and that is why we are comparing ARB and Ironman. Not sure I want to got to 50l as one of the main uses will be grocery shopping in the Philippines.

I guess it would depend on how fast he went.... :)
You could probably get another 100k out of that as long as you don't mind a little vibration. :hillbilly:

Well if he's anything like us, his truck probably can't go faster than 25 mph anyway. So he should be fine.
25mph!?!? Are you guys running nitrous or something?? Haha

Damn, can't make it today, will he be in town tomorrow? Lunch beer? :P

Yeah, I am smoking a pork butt so not much chance of leaving the home office tomorrow anyway.

yall had a little too much fun last night lol. im disappointed i missed it... except for the death sauce part

school me on trailers. Been looking for car haulers on craigslist but I'm also seeing a bunch of "utility trailers" which look nearly identical, same axles, brakes etc... The only real difference I can tell is that a utility trailer has a single full width expanded metal ramp whereas car haulers have true car ramps. This is an issue I can easily rectify.

Weight capacity and brakes is the only thing you really need to look at. Ramps, tie downs, etc, can be modified pretty easily to suit your needs. Keep in mind that if you buy a used one you might have to put some money into it for brakes, bearings, etc.

that's kinda what i figured but since I know next to nothing about trailers thought I'd throw it out there before buying something that's not gonna work for me. Brakes are a must and the rest is easily modified as you said. I'm also seeing some that have brakes but not connected, any idea of how much hassle it is to connect them? I assume it's as simple as wiring up, right?

I found one in ATL as described above (brakes not connected) and the guy is asking $1125 which I figure I can get for +/-900 but it also has a tongue length of what looks like about 30", any thoughts?

Just as a footnote, some of these people are damned proud of their used trailers. I mean I can buy a new one for 1800-2000 and a lot of the used ones are 2500+... jeez.

Thanks Nick, I hate being the yogi though. As of now Josh has offered his but I think John was eyeing it b/c his has a load of dirt on it, am planning on helping him shovel it off one night this week but if he decides it's too painful I might take you up.

I gotta get my own asap though. Will happen before GSMTR or I'll be walkin.

Hooking up the brakes shouldnt be too hard, remember we (really you, I mainly just watched) had to rewire mine after I got it.

As for my trailer, its there if ya need it...I just need it back by Wednesday after the pig roast because I have to pick up 2 pallets of retaining wall stones for the backyard project :bang:
