Pet cemetery?

Designer composite bin?

Next spring's tomato garden?

Where you buried your wife? (If so, I think you should have just poured a new patio slab. That is the first place the popo will look. :flipoff2: )

One last thing....why would that take you six months? (I guess the same reason it has taken me 5 years to restore a 40 - carry on.)

Well guys I finished my outdoor project is been going on for 6 months. I've been working on it in between all the other little project that I've got going on around the house. Can you guess what it is?

Congratulation. I know the feeling. Here are a couple shots showing a portion of a yard project that has been consuming my time, money and blisters.

Sorry Andrew, 8 ft retaining wall wins over a 6' sandbox every time.

You're suppose to grow your dope in the middle of the woods not in your back yard :)

I was thinking about a good place to store the wife, but her cooking and wit would be sorely missed.
However, you guessed correctly on the garden. I am taking over her earlier one I made to biuld a solar kiln for drying wood. Its in a perfect spot that gets a lot of sun.
Took me so long because it was hot, too many mosquitos and I suffer from too many projects bejng undertaken at once.
Stone work is difficult, but truly rewarding with the beauty of its look. I have a few scewups in it but they are lessons learned.

very nice Larry, did you do it yourself or did you have a crew come in and put it in?
Also what type of drains did you put in?

:o The 8 ft sections are the step downs from the major lengths which are 10 ft.

This was beyond simple shovel work or rental of a bobcat and backhoe. I hired a couple of crews. The excavation crew used multiple trackhoes, endloader, bobcat and dumptruck to move all the dirt. A separate crew formed and poured the wall.
Rather than drains, I would describe the hill side as being terraced to divert run off to gentler slopes. Once we get a strong rain, I will probably be adding rock in a few spots as required.

Next month will be a big do-it-yourself step ... pouring concrete between the shop and the wall (80 ft by 15 ft) and widening the driveway to the new area.

So, are GA Cruiser's meeting's like this?

good lord man you need a life. The only notation I've seen from our recent minutes was this: "Ted is an equal opportunity heckler." Wish now I had a pic of it but it's truly in there.

well nuff to know Chris' wife probably wrote all that.

hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me find more info on this guy's rig. I saw him last week on I-85 heading north. It was either a Lexus GX or LX, a darker grey color, lifted, stock wheels painted black, Slee Bumper with tire sitting up high and right in center of the rear hatch. Looked like an ARB front bumper with big Lightforces on the front, sliders, a slim roof rack with shovel on top, TRD side panel stickers in the rear.
