Well guys I finished my outdoor project is been going on for 6 months. I've been working on it in between all the other little project that I've got going on around the house. Can you guess what it is?

I was thinking about a good place to store the wife, but her cooking and wit would be sorely missed.
However, you guessed correctly on the garden. I am taking over her earlier one I made to biuld a solar kiln for drying wood. Its in a perfect spot that gets a lot of sun.
Took me so long because it was hot, too many mosquitos and I suffer from too many projects bejng undertaken at once.
Stone work is difficult, but truly rewarding with the beauty of its look. I have a few scewups in it but they are lessons learned.

The 8 ft sections are the step downs from the major lengths which are 10 ft.

This was beyond simple shovel work or rental of a bobcat and backhoe. I hired a couple of crews. The excavation crew used multiple trackhoes, endloader, bobcat and dumptruck to move all the dirt. A separate crew formed and poured the wall.
Rather than drains, I would describe the hill side as being terraced to divert run off to gentler slopes. Once we get a strong rain, I will probably be adding rock in a few spots as required.

Next month will be a big do-it-yourself step ... pouring concrete between the shop and the wall (80 ft by 15 ft) and widening the driveway to the new area.

hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me find more info on this guy's rig. I saw him last week on I-85 heading north. It was either a Lexus GX or LX, a darker grey color, lifted, stock wheels painted black, Slee Bumper with tire sitting up high and right in center of the rear hatch. Looked like an ARB front bumper with big Lightforces on the front, sliders, a slim roof rack with shovel on top, TRD side panel stickers in the rear.
