Hello all, new memeber, longtime enthusiast. A few months ago I lost my 97 lx450 to an accident and I am now in the market again. I’m located in Central Kentucky (Lexington) and would be willing to travel a reasonable day’s drive (6-8 hours probably) to anyone willing to pick me and my wife up at the nearest airport (fly-out and drive back sort of deal).
So what I’m looking for:
I’m not looking for a fully built rig or perfect condition etc., just a nice driver with mostly functioning electronics and A/C. I’ll be looking to spend in the neighborhood of 7-11 thousand. Mileage isn’t too much of a concern for me, as long as it has been maintained. Would like factory lockers. Character is a plus, my wife and I like to know the stories behind them, places they’ve been, adventures you’ve taken them on etc. I’m not too keen on the LX, I don’t like all the body cladding. Would prefer 95-97 for updated interior but would also look at 93 and 94’s. If it already has a mild lift and bumpers, obviously I wouldn’t complain!
If anyone is looking to move on from theirs, let me know! The wife, dogs, and I are hoping to hit some parks this fall!
