I just had to replace my O2 sensors on my Cruiser. The nuts holding the old ones in place were extremely corroded. They were no longer 6 sided. I bought some liquid wrench and sprayed them every few hours the day before I had replace them. I still couldnt get them off so I bought some Irwin Bolt extractors hoping against hope they would work and they worked like a charm. They locked on and it felt like I was using a good socket on a good nut.
I also used the Denso O2 sensors replacing the Factory sensors. They actually are physically different in shape and construction. I have not seen any difference in MPG since I changed the sensors a few months ago.
