Hi Everyone,

I have always wanted a diesel 60. I even owned a 60 with no drive train at one point to put a 4bt in it but sold it. But now my 80 is finished, I have decided to sell it to fund the 60 build. For those who are not familiar with my 80, here is the build thread, https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/403256-another-texas-ls1-swap.html. The 80 runs REALLY strong. The drive train has almost 3000 miles on it since it was put in. Interior is average for it's age. No rips in the seats. The seats are manual which I found odd, but love them. The roof rack is not included. The paint is POR-15 hardnose gray and white. The black is Plastikote bed liner. Here are a few pics, lots more on the build thread. Let me know if you want some others and I'll shoot and post them. Truck is located in Austin, Tx.

$14,900.

If you have a non-rust no dent 60, I would consider it in the deal.

Call me if you have any questions five,one,two-four,three,one-eight,zero,seven,one or shoot me a PM. Please do not call me after 8pm CST.

12mpg city and 16mph hwy. With 325hp, it really depends on how much fun you want to have.

Off topic, but what air cleaner assembly is that from? I have a 60 and a Vortec and need an airbox for the snorkel.

It is the stock 80 air cleaner. Contact Jason at Cruiseryard.com. He is parting out some 80s.

Well done sir! That is a sweet cruiser. I have the 60 you seek but low in funds for this trade at the moment. Good luck bump

Yeah,

Same boat...although not dent free, my 60 is very close to being turned around the corner and has the lift and tires you desire. I just don't have bucks to make up the difference. Very nice rig you have though...all the goodies.

Have you put the 4" Springs on yet? Curious for pictures if you have.

Thank you for the comments. No, I'm going to put the springs on a week from this Monday. I'll post up some before/after pics.

I decided not to put the 4" springs on and leave it at it's current lift. I thought it would change the caster angle but it would not. The shop owner and I had a long conversation about it. I changed the original post to reflect this.

no cruise or ABS, correct? what other stock functions were lost?

thanks

Correct. That and 2nd gear start is all I can think of.

Great truck, I am surprised to see it go!

If you think the 6 inch lift is too high for you, I'll throw in a set of 4 in springs.

Like the truck, but a tad north of what I can spend right now. If you are willing to negotiate, send me a message.

I put some pics of the underside up on photobucket http://s186.photobucket.com/user/warpdriv/library/FZJ80?sort=2&page=1

Also, here are some more information about the 80 based on what questions folks were asking me.

I would say the 80 is about 98% complete. It needs front control arm drop brackets to get the caster back in spec, hook up the transmission temp gauge, and have some things changed in the computer (gear ratio, tire size, and cooling fan type). The front sway bar needs to be dropped more. It's about 3 inches from the front DS.

It has a couple of small oil leaks. One in the engine oil pan which I have a new gasket and need to install it. The other is between the transmission adapter and the tcase.

Let me know if y'all have any other questions or want more pics.
