Front fender options

I have a buddy that has a 80 mini that's badly in need of some body panels. Front fenders specifically. Are there any aftermarket options that are worth a crap? Everything I read says they are either bad or worse. I'll go scouting the picknpull yards to see if anything is available, but based on recent history, I'm not holding my breath.

Luckily I haven't had to swap any panels, but I just think the quality of everything is crap these days. Maybe a local body shop could recommend some decent suppliers?
