That's too bad that Roger is out of the spacer biz. I ran his spacers on the 4rnnr and set the t-bars according to the FSM. Which was higher than where it was when I got it. Cleared 31's on the OEM alloy wheels with no problems or rubbing. I also replaced all of the bump-stops with slim urethane versions.

If he still sells them, I'd buy his idler arm too.

The TC idler is made for their whole steering kit, which uses SRE's instead of TRE's. Great for racing where they get a lot of maint. per mile driven. Not so great for street driven vehicles. (Watch all of those running SRE's come out of the woodwork with counter-claims. I'm looking at DECADES of service where they're talking a couple thousand miles at most.) It's been a while since I looked at it, but I don't think it easily adapts to otherwise stock steering very easily.

I used generic Energy Suspension bump-stops.

Are there any other idler solutions you are aware of?

thx

The only other idler option that I know of hasn't been made is a decade or more. It was a plate that clamped to the idler arm to make it more rigid. Roger's page may mention it and maybe has a picture?

Milo. If you're still looking around for a 1.5" bj spacer, the only place I found when I was searching over the summer is Toytec here in Denver. IDK why but most vendors sell them in 2.5" which is too much IMO. Here's a link:

There are independent sellers on ebay that offer 1.5" billet spacers as well. Another link for you below. Unfortunately, Roger aka 4Crawler stopped carrying a lot of the good stuff he had to offer, including his idler arm:bang::crybaby: Bought my diff drop kit from him back in August. You can always email him, his website is archaic but well detailed, and he still uploads to youtube on DIY stuff every blue moon. His web page on idler arms could be of use to you, as he provides insight into some of the aftermarket options out there. One more link for ya.

Kyle, Thanks brother this is great. I was just emailing with Roger about his idler arm stuff.. going to have to machine a set for myself. I wish he was still in business!

🖕 Agreeed! Been here on mud since 2009 and I owe so much to the site.

fyi, I tried to order those toytec spacers today, and as @gnob stated, that website is a bit screwed up. Would not let me complete the transaction. Put a call in to them and left a message. We'll see
