I'm new to this! I need some advice or a simple answer to my question. I own a 2005 HDJ100 with 440 000km. My front diff is shot and I'm not going to put a brand new one in because I can't afford it! I've been search for the last 6 and have just found one from a 2003 model. Both models are close to identical except the reference of the front diff are slightly different. 2005 model ref is 4111060811 and the 2003 model ref is 4111060801. I talked to the local toyota dealer and they told me since I'm changing the entire piece it should be ok, but they didn't seem to be 100% sure. Its quite an expensive piece even secondhand and nobody is able to give me solid advice. So I thought with all the passionate owners and experts here I might be able to get some sound advice and an answer. Please help! thanks
