Well just been given 1963 fixed cab fj45 let me say the wife not happy about the new project.

How can you gripe about free just tell her your building it for her if that doesn’t work keep it at a friends and sneak out and work on it when you can.

I just drove 80 Kay’s haven’t seen her in a few years. She’s been sitting out in the open for 8 years. Still quite solid considering but needs lots of work. I have a heap of later 1980 fj model spares 2f engine diffs brakes etc. I like the patina look might just try and get her drivable time will tell but She needs a dry shed or container.

Rear view mirror is some kinda nice. Wish mine looked that good. Hang onto that.

Well not exactly free I have to move some of his toys from one property to another. Free as in no money exchanged just some time and fuel. : )

That’s pretty darn complete for free, even for a good sum of cash. And that sliding windshield hack is a crackup. If the wife says get rid of it, I’ll send you my addy and you can box up at least a dozen things... maybe two...and send them my way. (Yeah that mirror would be included )

Yeh it’s complete except the brake master cylinder is missing. I had a quick look around the cab nothing but a spare grill and ignition switch.

The good news is the wife is starting to mellow towards me bringing her home. The bad news I might be on a peice of string for a couple years running around for her.
