Did your 60 diffs have square or round companion flanges?
And you had the spacer behind the H42? If so then you should be all set as you have a later series truck.
The early trucks had square companion flanges on the diffs, thus indicating the earlier driveshaft bolt pattern.
Subscribed!!! I have been doing some searches to see if anyone has done this yet. Looking forward to seeing you complete it. Few questions on the swap.
What size tires are you going to run on it after completion?
Are you going to re-build the motor or use it until it needs work?
Is the front ARB Bumper from your 60 or from an 80?
Are you modifying the interior at all with the swap?
( I love the body of the 60, but wondered how the 80 seats would fit.)
Are you going to sound proof the interior of the cab as well or do you think the exterior sound proofing will be enough?
I am excited to follow this swap.

I want to run 37's but I think I'll try the 35's first.
Engine is a 2006 Vortec conversion happened 2-3 years ago.
So, no work needed there.
The ARB is a 60's.
The frame has been mod on the middle and the rear so mod the front of the frame to fit the ARB.
The interior has been mod some what.
Its an auto but peeps that look at it think its a stick shift. It has a tuffy and it has seats from a 2005 Subaru WRX. They had to be moded to fit, again this happen some few years ago
The interior was also lined with sound proof a while ago too and it made a huge difference.
I just wanted to try additional sound proofing on the outside and I hope it makes it even quieter...
It also has the Kevin Rowland weather strip add-on and that too has help on wind noise control specially on long drives on windy sections of the hwy.
I am excited too and cant wait to drive it and see how much better it will be.. and even it if it didn't (ride any better) , this project has been a lot of fun to do....!!

BTW guys.. the flanges are different.. 
I think I will use the 60's part of the drive shaft for the TC and the 80's part of the DS for the axles.. they seem to fit each other.
I rather have the 60's shaft tho'.
So, my question again is do anybody knows if there is a universal flange that will fit the 80's axle ?

how about changing the flanges on the t-case to the later style so you can run the 80 drive shafts?
i have a few spares sitting around, will make you a smokin deal on a pair or just trade you for the earlier ones........

So, it stop raining !!!!!
While I wait for the tank Im rebuilding the rear axle ( brakes anyways, and the front axle is next).
This is getting out of budget...
It was pretty rusted and the rotors had some deep gauges (I think due to rust) calipers looked shot and had some missing parts on the e-brake.
So, I bought the needed parts and did this over a two day period.
The rear pass side still waiting for a pin that wont be here till Tuesday but it had to be put together.
While I wait for the tank Im rebuilding the rear axle ( brakes anyways, and the front axle is next).

Happy New years everyone !!!!
So while Im waiting for my tank.. I went on to pull the front axle apart and found this.
the spindle on the driver side had come completely loose and the brass bushing had a 1/32th" or 1/16th" play in it... you can see the wear on the bushing.. the spindle did not look good
Whether positive, negative or impartial input...................................

Wow, that was a great deal on a custom tank! It appears that they added your tank to their list of available products already, too.
