Thanks guys..
Tapage, I wish I could change the title..on the thread...
Jon, besides measurements I supplied the pump as Im running a V-8 under the hood.. the builder suggested tapering off the rear of the tank. It looks obvious now but initially I was planning on a square tank..They also suggested two ½" inlets for evap/emissions next to the spout.. again I was thinking I needed to get all 5 or 6 inlets that Toyota tanks have.
Yeah its been fun cutting/welding and making rusty stuff look near new
Im stoked and cant wait to run it on a washboard muddy forgotten road..and get her all dirty.. !!!!
IH8RUST
Anybody knows how to pull apart the TRE's out from the rod.
I tried to tackle this job in the afternoon (thinking that it would be a
job )after I finish the front axle but did not get anywhere.. them sucker are in tight n rusty ( Ha !! ) and after trying some twisting, pulling, pushing I gave up...
I put some penetrating oil and will go at it again tomorrow..
Do I need to use a torch ?
Thanks in advance....
