I'm in, if they're coming up soon...
I'm just waiting for the prototype to come back. I'm 99% sure they're going to be what I expect but I've been down this road a few times over the years; hence the prototype process even for something relatively simple. Then off to production. I'd be shocked if all this happens within 2 weeks and disappointed if they're not available for you guys in about 4-weeks.
Dan, do you have any ARB'd 100s in the area you will be able to test fit?

If it fits the newer, it fits the older
first is the older on sincitys rig
second is mine, the newer 03-07 bumper
Dont know about the sahara, maybe john could take a picture for us?
as you can see i had to notch it out. These are your original design, but the C-dog steel version.
Actually now that I'm looking at it they look the same...there is a clearanced 1/2 circle on the inside and back of that well where the OEM tie down bracket fits. So no mods required for the new FRB v2. The best, as you know, is mounted in front apart of the bumper...ala Slee's bumper, et al. But barring that there really isn't any other solid place to put one.
Sounds great. Looking forward to this.
I'll know for sure once I pay my fab guy. But the preliminary discussion based upon a good qty order would allow me to offer them out at $40 each unpainted/uncoated; $70 for a mirrored pair. Plus shipping and bolts if applicable.
FYI: At least the first batch will be high tensile strength steel; he cut me a good deal on some scrap leftover from another job. I know some of you won't like this but they are designed to be used with a 5/8" bow shackle/D ring (3/4" pin diameter). This was to keep them as low profile as possible while still doing the job. Most of the quality 5/8" bow shackle/D rings I see available are rated at 4.5T WLL.
I haven't asked my powder coat guy what he would charge to powder coat them. Any preference from the group whether you want to paint them yourselves or have them powder coated and ready to bolt on?
