Found this '06 GX and received some undercarriage pics. Is there enough rust to be concerned?
Thanks, Nelson

Surprisingly little considering the location. Check closer. The places the pressure washer doesn't hit. Radiator frame, inside the engine bay, up under the current pics near the body. Shock mounts, etc.

Thanks, goimg to look at it tomorrow. It has 100k miles. Also found an '07 with 136k miles but had drive belt replaced at 90k miles and has new dash. Nelson

It was garage kept for sure. So you have a possible win there. Good luck!

Nelson,
if you are seriously looking, you aren't looking hard enough. unless this rig is a gift, I'd keep looking.
if you are in south Texas, we live near two huge population centers in the country where folk's still change their cars like their underwear.
Most used GX's have flawless undercarriages. They were soccer mom cars and you need to worry more about juice box spills than rust.
replacing a seat cover is a whole lot easier than replacing a rocker panel from a rust belt car 3 years from now. It took me 3 weeks to find
a GX between Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Take your time and you will find a horse your saddle fits.
My opinion, of course. FWIW

Bill, thanks; trust me I'm looking.
Just missed an '08 with 120k miles and excellent history. The '06 NY/TX unit has decent history and dash is on the list.
The '07 has good history also and a carpet stain plus the TB is done and new dash. Hopefully it is clean underneath, had a short stint in FL then stayed in TX.

That's minimal surface rust. For a snow belt vehicle, that looks great. That said, if you're in Texas, keep looking for something with zero rust and don't settle for anything less.
