Guys,

I am thinking of letting go of some of my armor for my FZJ80. I have a set of Rockware sliders, Rockware rear single swing-out, and a OEM Snorkel that I am considering letting go. All of these items have been used but are in good condition. Anyone local interested? I am located in Charlotte, NC. I will post some pictures shortly.
Here is the link to the rear bumper and sliders

Rear Bumper $1700
Sliders $350
Snorkel $435

I prefer a local buyer as shipping is a pain on these guys...

It's the thread I bought them from, so yes they were sold to me.. ;)

Nice truck. One of the things that gets my goat is how someone can completely go through a truck and then add a Tuffy box, some other garbage, non stock wheels and tires and call it "fully restored".
For $30k it had better look like it came off the end of the production line and smell like Japan in 1980.
Just my high expectation though.

Went and saw SORF today. Owner offered to sell me the soft top for $200 so I jumped, and wanted to see the old 40. Nothing like it was, but very well taken care of.

Anyway, he has the lift kit including springs, extended shackles bushings etc... That he's willing to unload. He's in Greenville so if anyone is looking for a lift for a 40, PM me and I'll shoot you his email. The springs are 4" Safari springs I got from Marshall 8 yrs ago.

And... I need two things. Door hinges for both driver and passenger side, and the brackets that mount to the windshield for the top.

Let me know if you have either.

IMHO, SORF looked better under my ownership!

Look at that horn! Omg.

He ought to give those springs to someone. Keep the cruiser karma flowing.

I'm sure he'd unload it all cheap. Good guy and it's just sitting on a shelf. The horn works... Just too big to hide away under the hood. Not exactly my style for sure. Had that cruiser cartoon feel to it. Was expecting Goofy to jump into the drivers seat.

Marshall, do you have the L shaped windshield brackets in your stash? I'm striking out everywhere... Even $pector. Did get door hinges from Mark's heading this way.

Looks solid. Too bad i haven't sold the 60 or i would be looking at it....

cheap 40 listed in Chapin - he's only asking $1800 and says it runs - looks like it has a factory PTO winch on it too

I own an 80, but have decided to persuade (con) my dad into buying a 40, so this is a question to help educate me a little before I get to far into it...

Is the front axle on a 40 supposed to sit that far forward? I just looks like something is wrong. Or is this just be the result of old springs and sagging.

Looks like the front springs may be flipped to give an extended wheelbase?

I have a new suspension for the 4runner headed my way so what is on it will be for sale soon.

OME 883 front springs and 5100 Bilstein front shocks, in the rear I have 80 series front springs and factory 80 series shocks, the rear shocks need to be replaced as they leak but could get you buy until you could afford a new set. $350 for the complete setup.

I am looking for a bench grinder and a floor model drill press.

I have a front and rear stock bumper from my 88 fj62 I will sell, both have sustained damage at one time or another, and both have been straightened. They look decent, but you would not want them if you had a pristine princess ride.... But if your bumpers are trashed or missing, these are pretty good. If someone is interested let me know and I will post pictures.

Interested in front bumper depending on condition.

If you wish to buy a new drill press I can attest to Grizzly products. I have a 22 year old Grizzly drill press that I purchased new and have used pretty heavy all this time. Still going strong, never an issue. Oh, the light bulb needed to be replaced.
