Howdy, everyone. I just paid my dues to join the club—excited to meet everyone in person at the next ride/gathering.

I just picked up a '96 FJ80 and am starting to tackle the punch list.

Does anyone happen to have an armrest base for the front driver side (LH)? The top of the handle on my armrest base broke off where it screws into the door panel.

The trim is brown, which I believe is called "oak."

Welcome,
as far as finding parts, either Old North State Cruisers, here, or facebook marketplace

Does anyone have a solid FJ80 wheel around? One of mine has a good bit of corrosion on it and it seems easier to just buy a good used wheel as opposed to trying to clean it up.

You may need to provide a little more detail on what you are looking for. You say FJ80, but the FJ80 was only offered here in the states from '90 to '92. FJ80 wheels look like this:
1704312608182.png

The FZJ80 was from '93-'97 and, while FZJ80 wheels look the same, the '93-'94 wheels take tapered lug nuts while the '95-'97 wheels take shouldered lug nuts. FZJ 80 wheels look like this:

Your signature says that you have a '96 FJ80, which is actually an FZJ80. If that's the vehicle you are searching for a wheel for, you'll want to look for an FZJ80 wheel for shouldered lug nuts. HTH.

Ah, thank you. Makes total sense. I'm new to the 80 world with my '96 and hadn't quite worked out the specific differences between the FJ and FZJ models and years.

Yes, I was looking for a wheel for a '96 FZJ80, but was able to find one when ordering a few other things on the phone from Restoration Cruisers.

I'm selling a clean 2001 LX470 if anyone is interested (or knows someone who is interested). With the addition of the '96 80, the driveway is way too crowded.

Here are details:

---

I’m selling our beloved 2001 LX470. I never planned on letting it go, but I had an unexpected opportunity to pick up a 1996 FZJ80, and there are too many cars in the driveway, so something’s got to go.

I currently own 4 Toyotas (including this LX470) and am meticulous about keeping them in mechanically excellent condition.

I bought this truck with about 180k miles on it and it just turned 220k. My dad owns and auto shop and when I had them inspect it, they peeked in the valve covers and said everything looked brand new, and the compression read at factory levels, so I knew it was a cherry machine. (Though I shouldn’t have been surprised, because those motors are legendary.)

It's primarily been driven around town by my wife. The only time I had it off road was when we got caught in a snow storm in North Carolina, and boy was I glad to be in this rig because it performed incredibly.

I ran a CARFAX report before buying the car and can provide it on request. The vehicle was purchased in Florida, then the first owner moved to North Carolina. They sold it to a second owner in NC, then the third owner in South Carolina, who I purchased it from, owned it for almost 12 years.

I did a full service around 200k miles:
- Full air conditioning system refresh
- New valve cover gaskets
- Timing belt replaced (including timing belt idler pulley)
- Spark plugs and ignition coil
- Water pump replaced
- PCV valve replaced

In the time I’ve owned it, there have been two major fixes:
- The exhaust manifold had a small crack, so I had it replaced
- The steering rack started to leak (fairly common), so I had that replaced as well

The AHC (Active Height Control) system is in perfect working condition.

So, suffice it to say, this thing is ready for another 200k + miles.

The interior is extremely clean for a 220k rig and I ran seat covers on all seats for the entire time I owned it. There are some tears in the leather on the front driver and passenger seats, and the arm rests have a lot of wear, but those would be relatively inexpensive fixes at an upholstery shop because the seats won’t need to be fully re-covered. I chose not to get them fixed because we ran slip-on seat covers.

I also have front and rear WeatherTech floor mats in it that would come with the car (I removed them for the pictures to show the clean carpet).

The exterior is also pretty clean There are some normal nicks and scrapes that were on the vehicle when we bought it, but it stands tall when it’s cleaned up. As you can tell, I’m more concerned with the mechanical side versus the nit-picky aesthetics, but a touch-up shop could clean it up pretty easily.

Does anyone need a brand new, full walnut trim kit? I bought one from wooddash.com thinking I'd replace it in the '96 I'm bringing back to life, but after removing all the old stuff, I really like the clean look without the wooden trim.

I have to pay shipping to return it, so figured I'd see if someone local wanted to pick it up at less than retail. You can see the kit by going to this link, choosing 1996 as the year, and looking at the "Dark Burl" color in the Faux Wood series: TOYOTA LANDCRUISER Interior Dash Trim Kits, Auto Accessories - WoodDash.com - https://www.wooddash.com/category/TOYOTA_Dash_Kits_LANDCRUISER

Does anyone have a good front drive shaft that would fit a 97 LX450 that is no longer in need of it? TIA
I have one. I'll bring it this weekend.

Looking for the change cup insert for my '98 100. Mine has the blank only. Hoping someone has one sitting around that they pulled out for a set of switches, etc. As info, just put in the 3D shifter plate and a new bulb on the seat heater. Good as new.
