that thing is clean! i don't see really any rust in the normal spots for pigs (hard to see much detail). but at $7k, you could get a 80 for less. i know the pig is more a collector thing.

Speaking of Pigs... I drove past one last week. It looked really nice. I think he had a bumper sticker that said '79 but not quite sure, NM plates. It was the two-tone red and white, one pretty piggy. Anyone see that around town?

Huh? They are not yours unless you go by two names. This guy buying my 40 offered them for trade towards it, but I told him I don't need tires. That is a bit steep for my blood anyways.

Sorry to disappoint you and anyone else! But sometimes we have to face reality. I knew it was going to cost me money, but I kept spending on it and need to finish the work. Even when I finish it, how much am I going to drive it? Do I really need a fourth truck in the driveway? No power steering, heater sucks (of course not a problem in summer) etc., I guess I got spoiled with the 4Runner first and now the 80. Yes it would fun to keep a 40 (especially with the perks of this one) but I can't see more pro's than con's to keeping it. I will find one sometime down the road. Maybe like the sweet '79 I saw today. It was Mustard Yellow. I slowed down to look at it while driving and wiping the drool off my chin.
Nice detail job on the body and I read somewhere that those FJ40 bodies are unobtanium. Wonder if the guy has a spare, unmolested body he would throw in the deal.

Warn Roller Fairlead and 5/16x100 Steel Cable
Going with synthetic line for the winch....both are brand new and came with my 9.5xp. Not sure what exactly to ask for these, so checked the prices at winchdepot.com and asking much less than what they are asking. Let me know if I am off on the prices.
