Man that is almost to purdy to drive. Sweet rig. Where is it located.

Smog Cert

I just got a smog certificate on it - passed perfectly.

Boy, this sure looks like a good deal. Those 33's actually look too small with that lift. Does it have the stock gearing?

Its located in Montana by Missoula. It is Earls rig. Who is this Mushro chap? All offers go through me.. and I dont let my friends get taken advantage of Capish!

Beware of Greg Mushro, he is Vintage Off Road (VOR), he flips cruisers, possibly rolls back odometers, advertises every LC he sells as a "full restoration", he has bought from someone, never seen it, then sold it to someone else and has them pick it up from the original seller. Lots of stories here if you do a search, basically the lowest form of used car dealer. Do a search for "pound sand" and I'm sure you'll get the idea :D .

Might need a bit more explanation considering that was not the stock tranny in a 77. Just a suggestion for your description on a 40 at that price point

Thank you for stating remanufactured rather than restored.

Since you are doing this as a business, have you considered placing your posts in the Vendor section?

Jukelemon,
the reason it is a 3 speed tranny, is because this vehicle was not originally imported into the US by Toyota, this vehicle was remanufactured in South East Asia, and was privately imported soon after. I will find out if that was the stock tranny used in asia for that year and post it on here.

The vehicle is in excellent condition and all major sheet metal was replaced. The ride is sensational, and runs great.

Junk... thanks for reminding me of the vendor section, i went ahead and added an ad for the business website including sale of 3 additional fj40s

interesting. But in 77 no cruisers anyplace in the world got the 3 speed.........all got 4 speeds. but thats not to say someone swaped in what they had laying around when it was rebuilt........but that would also mean the t-case is prolly different

If you're going to advertise trying to sell vehicles, then don't forget to support the site by purchasing a star - note different colors for vendors vs others.

Beautiful Rig, I really hope that Mushro doesnt get his paws on it. Good Luck Selling, 45's that pretty are as rare as they come.
