I posted a pic for you in my thread...I'll need a shipping addy from you;)

Thanks Bob, I just got my rocker panels, scuff plates, and tailgate window channel. You can't completely appreciate those rockers from looking at the photos, you have to hold one in your hands, and I mean both hands. They are heavy! Unbelievably stout! All I need now is an instructional video on how to properly install them.

Mudders, check out Bob's fabricated window channel for the rear tailgate glass. Perfect! I can't be the only one who's channel is completely rusted.

Thanks again Bob, Mark

Man, alittle too late. I spent an hour media blasting those, then had them plated. Coulda had new!

Bob, I know better, should of asked.

Bob,
I just finished reading all 25 pages of this thread. I am always amazed at how metal artists can form curved panels from flat sheets. Some of the aviation guys I know can make cowls using only an English wheel and tin snips. You are one of these artists. I got my pig in my shop today and will be evaluating it over the next month. I am certain I will buy rockers, floor pans, and possible some panel patches. I have to figure out what to do about getting it running. Thanks for your help to preserving these beasts.

Midgainc, Thanks for the feedback. I enjoy it as much as the Gang enjoys working on them Just let me know what you need. If its extensive I offer a package deal.

Thanks Bob.

Bob, You're going to force me to buy a rusty one, aren't you.

Sir,

I'm feeling very sorry for you, since you've not had the pleasure of installing all of these panels and I'm extending a consolatory offer, so you're no longer left out.

I will donate my rusty Pig for your enjoyment.

Your close enough to me, that it'd be no big deal for me to get her to you, I really don't mind taking one for the common good, and allowing you the joys of Pig skinning.

No thanks or any other appreciative sign. It's the least I can do.

Sincerely....

Bob,
I just finished reading all 25 pages of this thread....

Have been through it two or three times, saving pics, comparing to what I've got, and found myself thumbing through several pages, an attempt to see what was offered and what wasn't, so here's the short list of what I've surmised from the latest perusal:

Floor Pans
Body Mounts
Rockers
Rocker to Rocket Floor Support Brackets
Front Fender Patch
Door Panels (front and rear)
Kick Panels
Roof Gutter
Scuff Panels
Tailgate Window Channel
Rear Quarters

Does this sound correct, bobm?

Is all available, still?

I need roof supports, too, along with, I'm sure, anything else one can think of.

Too Late!

Bob knows how much I don't like body work, I still got sucked in. This is supposed to be my parts wagon, we'll see. Thanks to Bob. :)

Too Late!

I pray that the sarcasm was sensed in every word.

I chuckled the entire time I typed. Hahaha.

Well, if it does wind up being just parts, I need......Hahaha. Looks better than my builder.

A question for the metal maestros (oddly, my income derives from steel, yet I can't determine)

The roof skin on mine has buckled, for lack of a better term, due to the interior supports failing, I'm assuming due to an impact, proposals from tree it lived under.

Water has ponded there and left rusted mess.

Interior below (yet I can't see any holes that'd leaked to cause)

Question is, would sectioning in a patch be possible, should a new portion of the skin, from gutter to gutter be the process, of if the roof skin feels solid just replace the lower support channels?

Bob,

If you need an example roof support, I have mine sitting in the shop. I cut them out and they're not going back. Let me know, I will ship them to you.
