You ain’t been payin’ much attention to the direction of things lately, huh? ;)

I guess not. I should upgrade my Rancho 9000's.

Since I'm geared down so low I don't think I'll ever wear out a pair of shocks. Is it bad when the speedomter does not move until you hit third gear when in compound low?

The pics are small a my computer I cant see the quarter ellipctics, That's to bad he could have made a real nice suspension out of it than. Wouldn't want to drive it on the street the roll centre is was off every turn it makes will fill like it wants to roll over. But dose make for good rock crawling.

if that is the suspension, then what are the quarter elliptics for?
Go back to sleep college boy....

Mans got a 3 link back there.....

so what makes this the flexiest cruiser ever? or did i miss something?

don't get me wrong. i like the rig and i think it's had some clean work done to it based on some good ideas but the name of the post might as well be "i have the best cruiser ever". no such thing...........

JProlly safer to of said, Flexiest cruiser I ever saw...........

Very nice clean rig which looks like it will work well, but that ain't flex, this is flex on a full body FJ

OK, I'll chime in. The title was just a joke. Not even close to the flexiest rig i've seen, but a lot better than my 4" lift i cut off. This is my first build, and i could'nt have done it without this board for idea's and tech advice.
It is a 4 link rear (Proffitts kit)w/ 1/4 eliptic fj60 rear springs. The front is SOA ( was going to go 3 link but ran out of time ) Front axle moved forward 4 ", rear back 12 ". 105"- wb. Fj 60 f/r axles, 4:88s w/ ARB's & disc's f/r. Rebuilt 2f w/rv cam, Downey TBI. Rock box (2.28), Orion 4.1, H42 tranny, Woods shafts. FJ 60 ps w/hydro assist (trail gear). 38.5 TSL/SX, and some bitchen' doors  Blah, blah, blah.

My goal was to make it somewhat street driveable, and all Toyota (- TBI). I did'nt really need the remote res rear shocks, but they were out of stock and its what i got. Definitly not the cleanest rig out there, but not too bad for a 1st time winter garage fab/build, and YES i suck at welding!

See you @ CM07. T-24 hr's. :flipoff2:

Mike

you should take a little more credit. i liike the rig, sounds like you put some homework into it which definetly shows.

what are you going to do about a cage?

and if i might add some more $.02 ; get bead locks. ;)

I have a Metaltech full cage. Beadlocks are on the list for later. Thanks for the reply, Mike.

I am proud of my my 40. Not bad for 4" super stiff front leaf springs. The back still had another 4" to go.

I THINK YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU BUILT TOO. IT LOOKS TO FLEX VERY WELL. IT IS SAD THAT EVERY TIME SOMEONE PUTS SOMTHING ON THIS SITE THAT IS SLIGHTLY OFFKEY. IT IS TIME TO RELEASE THE HOUNDS, AND SLAM EVERTHING THEY SAY OR DO. THEN GET YOUR BUDDYS TO DO THE SAME. MAYBE NOT THE MOST FLEX OUT THIER. BUT VERY GOOD, HELL PROBABLY BETTER THAN HALF THE MEATHEADS WHO SAID IT WAS NOT. THANKS FOR SHAREING YOUR RIG LOOKS GOOD AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE ENJOY IT.
