you’re in high school with no tools and absolutely no mechanical experience whatsoever....
is it not possible to drop by a number of other shops or talk with some more experienced local land cruiser folks to point you in the right direction to a shop that can “put the pieces together again”.
This forum is amazing and the collective knowledge is outstanding.
What concerns me is basic safety, if you f*** up one simple thing regarding brakes or axle rebuild it is in fact quite dangerous.
We/They/Us can tell you how to do this or that to get your BJ40 back on the road,
.....but if your truck scoots of the jackstands and leaves you with one less ‘sneaker’ with foot attached to your leg that’s not ideal.
