It's pretty complicated actually...kind of a trade secret.

You mean Painless doesn't have a harness for that?

Bahahaha.

Hurry up! I've been moving the rear bumper and wheels and tires around for this for seven months, and ain't none of it light!

Hahaha.

Phenomenal.

Are customers able to have the vehicles maintained at dealerships/indy shops/diesel specialists, or do they need to return to your shop for maintenance?

I may have a GX470 for you in a year or two.

Cool conversion.

But how hard is it to get parts for this motor in the US?

Can I go to Napa, AutoZone, or OReilly and get belts, alternators, injectors, starters or filters?
Will any Toyota dealerships: 1. Work on it 2. Be able to get parts?

If you put this sort of coin into the conversion you are signing up for more than just a pretty machine. You need to know what the risks are and have the spares on order to stock your shelves. When I go this route I will be stocking up on all the filters, supplies, and major failure points (belts, alt, vacuum, etc) that could go bad.

The price of entry is just one cost, there are more to owning a novel, amazing, and trend setting build.

It all depends on the $ flow.

May not be that far off reality...time will tell.

Not to highjack but imagine an SAS GX with D!!! It will be the most drooled on truck ever. Bring a rain coat.

Agreed...

Ok this is sick! :D I'd have to do this if we weren't moving to diesel land already.

Owner's picking up today. Waiting on the butt dyno review now.

Planning a wrench day week after next, if any locals are going to be in the Tulsa area and would like to see (and assist lifting, Expo rear install, and a long list of other todos).

Great job on the fabrication. I dunno why everyone is wetting their pants, though. If you're willing to spend money, there is no such thing as a no answer. EVER.
