We ran Hell Hole trail this weekend. The water in the res was way down, but that didn't make the trail any easier! There was nobody else there (except bears). Shane dragged, banged and crawled us back up. And we even used the winch in one notoriously bad section. Lot's of fun. L.B.:)

Wow, you two have come so far in not a whole lot of time. That LC looks friggin great. Now you're out enjoying it and the experience can truly be enjoyed. All you can look forward to now is replacing things you break, hehe. Awesome pics, and another beautifully chopped 80.

looks like a cool trip

That place is bad ass... It's been awhile... Thanks for the pics.

Looks like fun. I'm gonna have to check it out

That picture looking down at your campsite sums it up for me. Going places in an LC where no one else is. Nice, thanks for sharing.

4 of us went Me, Shane, Shane's mom Tracy and Shane's sister Lex. :)

How do you get to that trail??

how do the doetsch 8000 shocks work in that kind of offroading? that is one heck of a camping site, nice job guys.

The turn off to the jeep trail is about 4 miles short of the boat ramp. Directions are at: http://4x4trailmaps.com/4x4Trails.php?Trail_ID=33. The shocks work perfect as far as I can tell. I wouldn't say "he almost rolled it", but he was stuck on 3 wheels for a minute by that burned tree in the second photo. It seems like our photos of this trail and the Rubicon trail don't look as nasty as when you are acually there. :)
