Identify my tranny and transfer case? H155F?

Today I was pb-blasting hardwear in preparation of pulling exhaust header and head. Checked oil--no detected contamination on dipstick. Coolant reservoir clean and full. Stuck my finger in the top of the radiator and no coolant there.

Seems queer

Check the data tag on the firewall to see what transmission it was originally equipped with (whether it is still there is less sure). The hose looks like AC condenser drain maybe?

Anybody able to enlighten me on this lil fella? Hose just drains under engine bay.
I think this pipe in picture is supposed to go to nozzle under charcoal canister.
Shock mount looks f@#ked.
You are missing a lot of vacuum pipes. On one of my threads are the diagrams.
Gearbox looks like H150 or H151, carbed 70 series is usually, H150. Bigger 1st and 2nd.

So many missing vacuum lines... amongst other connections :/

Speaking of finding a 1FZ-F in the US.... I am pulling motor/trans for a swap in the next month or so. Can't message ya for some reason but happy to chat if you're interested!

@Stiles I'm at the tail end of a very similar adventure to yours. My 94 FZJ73 showed up DOA after being sold a running truck and it's been 3+years of continuous projects, most of which were fun to take on with the support of this forum. Like someone else mentioned, I'm unable to send you a message – perhaps you've turned off messaging intentionally – but if you need help, please send me a message with some contact info. I'd be happy to pass on the support I got from this forum however I can.

I have a folder of docs I collected early on in this process that you may find useful. You can pull it down here.

Update is the head off yet ?
I would say if the 1FZ-F is anything like the 1FZ-FE then there’s a good chance the bottom end is fine.
I love this Forum it’s full of helpful knowledgeable Cruiser Heads and is such a great resource.

It also has its share of folks ready to help you spend you money on sh*t that’s not broken.
Like other have said take you time figuring out what really needs fixing.
Proceeded with caution.

That being said the pictures you have posted paint a picture of a rig ridden had and put away wet. 😜

Depending on month/year of manufacture you will have an H150/H151 5-speed manual transmission and an HF1A part time transfer case.

it LOOKS like an H150/HF1A, but based on the pics i'm looking at we're dealing with a whole drivetrain swap, even the coil front end looks to be a swap, lots and lots of hints in the pics.

so really the i.d. tags on the trans and case will need to be looked at, if still present.

would be interesting if this was a 22R rig, but this was probly a 3F/H55 truck with a leaf sprung front, i'd like to see the firewall data plate assuming it wasnt also swapped.
