Btw where are you at in colorado?
i don’t know about shipping yet especially im in usa at the moment. but how much you would pay for it. keep in mind this unit got no box unfortunately. I asked for a video, it will show up in day or two
The part number for my spec is -69096 not sure what the difference is?
Is there a pic of the combustion chambers?

-69097 will work for -69096. It’s a supersession.

I would say if I were closer I would for sure come help, but I’m northern by Ft Collins.
I will say, just start 1 project, don’t rush it and fix all the other issues on down the line. Pull the head, see if it’s cracked or not. That might help you decide what to do next. Rebuild? 1fz-fe swap?
I bought mine from my friend not running so I didn’t have to be disappointed from the start
I rebuilt the engine, then new turbo, rebuilt injectors and injector pump just to get it moving. Then was axle service, brakes, drivelines. Then tcase rebuild, then, then…
They will always need something, but in the end you have a reliable cool imported 70 series that will take care of you and hood value
Heck, Land Rover guys restore them all and end up with a cool glavanic corrosive, Thomas Edison wired spark fest, oil leaks that make Alaska cringe all tied up together in a vehicle less reliable and fun to drive than a Triumph TR6.

I am reckoning not, as it never overheated. Its good to hear you say that. l am curious of all the various potential costs and avenues. New territory for me, trying to gain all the data and wisdom l can as l formulate a plan.

Well let me clear things up. @Stiles I am sorry for turning your post like a bazar. I just thought im helping the community. Ill stop here unless you allow it, sir.
head is not in good condition, it has corrosion.
Carburetors are gone all of them to usa in a minute i posted about them, one unit for about 450.
