I have been looking and looking and looking for FJ62 to be my daily driver.

I have sold a vehicle or two and am ready to take the leap, however am having difficulties finding the right one.

Color is not super important; however, a relatively decent interior is. Must be clean well maintained and preferably bondo free. I am not looking for a show stopper, as I am an avid outdoors person whose family loves to be outdoors and busy fishing, hunting, camping, etc. I would like something that was well taken care of but again, not a show stopper. Character is great, but not a ton of work right away. Willing to pay a reasonable price. Please let me know if you are willing to sell. Thank you.

Take a look at my listing for consideration. If you happen to have a shop you trust to do the transmission work, you could have a clean truck for reasonable cost.

I have an ‘89 FJ62. CA rust free. Located near LA. 240K motor runs like new. New cats smogged last year. Recent new radiator, water pump, alternator and battery. Includes rear tire carrier/jerry can swingout bumper, 40gal fuel tank, aftermarket lift by HFS, aftermarket wheels. All OEM parts included to put back to stock. Interior nice, not perfect. Same with paint. It’s been used, never abused or crawled. It’s been taken care of.

THE BAD: Driver’s side steering knuckle weeps a bit. 3” long crack in orig windsheild, lower driver’s side. TC filler bolt is stripped and weeps some fluid. It could use a suspension upgrade. Will need tires soon, though they probably have 10K miles left on em. If I’m to keep it I’d go with an OME lift and larger dia tires.

Nice looking rig. Cargo box and crossbars not included.
