Looking for the backrest portion of an FJ62 rear seat. Must have the headrest provision, so no early 62s! The upholstery can be missing or in tatters, I just need the frame with the welded in mounts for the headrests. The size is probably cost prohibitive to ship, so close to Front Range Colorado is best. If you're further away we can look into Mudship.

If cruiser yard has one, I’ll be heading to northern New Mexico in the next few weeks if that’s of any help.
What is cruiser yard?

Thanks for the tip, wasn’t aware of them. If Brandon had what I needed, I’d already have it at my shop.

Pretty sure I have one or two in NH..
I may have somebody coming out this way from New Jersey in a few weeks. I need to confirm whether they're driving or flying though. And New Jersey isn't really "close" to NH ... certainly closer than CO and NH though. Let me ping my buddy and see what his plans are. What are you asking anyway?

I’ll be going to ny in early Oct from Va can bring a set of the seats if he’s driving.
Jonas I think we talked about this a while back and your price was more than I was willing to pay. Thanks anyway man.

do you want the entire seat back?
or
just the sections cut out?

Less work if I have the entire seat back … cheaper to ship the cuts and weld them into my seat. Tough call. Unless we can get another MudShip Montana->Colorado pipeline going.

Edit: I actually have no idea what the internal part that holds the headrests looks like. Maybe I could just make something.

I've got a 1989 62 rear upper with a bend in it, so not usable in it's condition but could be cut up.
no mudships on the horizon

Depending on how big the cuts are it might not be too bad to ship. If you get some time could you shoot me a couple photos via PM? Thanks.

that was my thought on the pieces versus the entire back
I'll try and get them this weekend.
