Thread resurrection to ask: But how do you get this cover off? Special tool? Incantation?

Very careful prying with thin tools to spread out the "box" part from the lid just enough to undo the latches. I've gotten it down to a science but unfortunately the plastic is so old and usually brittle enough that breaking the small latches is sometimes unavoidable.

Did this today somewhat in anticipation of the old ones going. Used these instead since I couldn’t find the others on digikey. $1.73 each

So… you just heat these up from the bottom, remove, and replace? Is there anything I could do wrong there? Also to verify the issue is actually this relay, I assume I would not see current after the relay when activating the switch, right? Just getting the clicking sound now. Looks like the wires going to the motor were damaged by the bottom rail of the regulator but repairing the wire didn’t fix the issue. I want to be sure I’ve properly diagnosed the problem and that I don’t screw up a good part in the process. Clearly electrical isn’t my strong suit.

Just ordered a couple of these since I've been unable to find two of the NTE ones. Thanks for sharing, will report back!

Well, I've replaced master switch, window motor AND relays this past week, and my window is still not fixed. Used to go down but not up. Now it's not going either way. What should I look at next? I'm so annoyed by now..

U probably did this already, but did u run power directly to the motor to verify that it's working properly? I wasted lots of time before I realized I had a severed wire in the door between the green box and the motor. Tested with a 12V drill battery.
