Are y’all able to get your retractors to lock after you pull the entire belt out so you can cinch down a car seat?

Did you ever find an answer for this? I’m about to install my 3 points

Yeah I called SBP and talked to him. They do not lock once you pull them all the way out. I can’t remember the retractor type name, but they are the style that used to come in cars before that locking type became standard. I’ve tightened down two car seats in mine and they honestly work just fine without that feature.

I was looking at your photos. Did you drill the wheel well to mount the lower point?

For anybody looking, I have a set of black ABS cargo panels that are designed to fit around the SBP rear retractors if you bolt them to the interior side wall just behind the door. I make laser cut panels for 60s and had a request to do a custom set to accommodate the retractors and the cut shop accidentally cut two pair. The customer has not installed his set yet so I don’t know how they look, but the fit should be pretty good.

Yes, I used a step bit.

What color webbing did you pick? I prefer that to the dark brown.
