Ok, I was lucky enough to pick up a truck about a year ago now that has a nice interior, original fabric...not even the normal tear you typically see on the drivers seat. I replaced the front seat cushions so that would not happen. Started installing a drawer system last week which means now my dog will need to ride in the back seat. I am looking to get some covers for my seats for kids/dog in the back and maybe cover the front ones too. I have looked at different covers and measured them out, but I figure someone has already bought a perfect set that fits like a glove and they can share pics and tell me where they bought them. Pic of truck and drawers. The drawer pic is actually not my truck, although it is in a truck that is similar in color as mine. The company that sells them sent it to show me how they fit.

so Please post your pics of your seat covers if you like them and let the world know where you go them.

I have the SOR covers in my 100... and I have to say they are very well made, fit like a glove, and are easy to remove and wash. They fit as clean and tight as the pics on their website show.

I would expect their 60 series slip covers to be the same. (If i hadn't put aftermarket seats in my 60 I would probably have a set in it).

They are not cheap, but they line up with other higher end covers like wet okele. Based on the quality I think the price is fair.

Are you talking about the slip covers?? I am looking for something that can be easily taken on and off....but boy those are expensive. Would be over $700 for front and back. I am hoping someone has found a good after market slip cover for less.

I bought some covers for my 100 from Autoanything that are made by Cover Craft. The version I bought are the canvas seat savers. They are well made and have a pocket in the back for storage. They are $143 currently for the front row. I might order some to replace the faded SOR Tuff Duck covers that are on my 60. They started at grey, but are now brown/tan for some reason? I guess the UV really fades them out.

those would be great, and reasonably priced, but no fit for the '83 landcruiser. I am hoping someone has bought one of the universal covers and had luck so I can see before I buy and try.

I have the SOR Tuff Duck covers in my brown 83. They are awesome. I tried to sell a year or two ago for $300 but no one would bite and I decided to keep them. Can you put a price on protecting original fabric?

I keep the back cover on for the dog and put the fronts on in the winter. During the summer they are too hot. They don't breath well.

Yes,the tuff duck slip covers. A set of gray 60 series front and back is on sale right now for 535 at SOR.com... still not cheap but once I got them I didn't regret it. Pretty easy to remove and wash.

For cheaper but less fitted, have you tried Cabela's? They often have some universal fit covers for under $100.

If you decide you might want to sell them again let me know. I put clear tint on my glass, even the windshield and it really cut down on the amount the sun comes in and heats things up.

And that emergency brake handle looks like crap :)....I pulled mine out, sanded it and painted it and it looks new. Was surprised you could do it, but saw another guy refurb his and it came out nice. Quick cheap project you will be glad you did. Mine went from what yours looks like to this....

yeah...I am hoping someone went the universal route with some success and can post a pic vs buy and try.

Who makes your drawer system? Looks like a perfect fit

Another guy asked so here is what I sent him in a PM

so i found that brand on Amazon..they did not appear to make on for the 60. I contacted the company and asked them about buying one that fit another vehicle and then cutting it down to fit. He sent me the pics of what I posted and told me that you can order than with the universal wings and cut them down to fit the 60. I did....the drawers are just a hair too wide to fit between the wheel wells...and when I say a hair, I mean if you didnt have them covered you could probably squeeze them in....I actually took a large mallet and hit both sides down low to push them in slightly going back about 8 inches and it fit tight. I actually like the fact that it fits tight. I have not cut the wings down to fit yet, but when you do you actually have an additional place to store things as that round circle on top is a latch you turn to lift the top of the wing to access the sides. Waiting to get to my dads workshop to custom fit the sides. The center drawers are very nice, heavy and lock. I have ordered some tie downs that you would mount on the bottom of a truck bed and will used those to tie the system down so it doesnt bounce around....It would only do that with a very hard bump, but to be safe you need to tie them down.
  1. The cost- the guys sold them to me for $1200 delivered. Would of been a few hundred more if I would of just ordered them without talking to him. So about twice what the KISS guy charges, but he doesnt sell one for the 60 and these are a lot better quality, or maybe to put it another way, they are metal. I am sure they are heavier, so some would rather have a lighter system.

  2. guy's name is David if you want to reach out to him directly. $1398 was the online shipped price and he gave me 10% off that.

Mine are the Dickies or Bell brand (pretty sure they’re the same cover) and run about 20/per for the front and a little more for the back. They last about 3 years and fit ok. Excuse the filth.

Ok, so after looking at a lot of alternative I decided to roll the dice on these from Amazon. Worst case, I could return them. Not a perfect fit, but a little nip and tuck and they worked out pretty good. And at $50 I thought it was a deal. The fabric type was exactly what I was looking for. We will see how they hold up, but after putting drawers in the back I didnt want my Labradoodle ruining my backseat.

Wet Okole. Pics are just what I happened to have so let me know if you want more. I get a lot of compliments from passengers and most don't realize they're aftermarket seat covers (at least the non-car people).
