I thought you got that with your pile o parts? I dont have one but you can bypass your oil cooler until you get one from cruiser parts.

WANTED: FJ60 parts truck in Central Texas

I need an FJ60 (81-87) parts truck with an intact front clip. Specifically, I need the radiator sorround, headlights, headlight bezels, grille and front valance, or at least the radiator sorround and the front valance, I'm looking to change an FJ62 to round headlights.

I'd prefer Central Texas, but if you're willing to ship, let me know!

LCAH Spring plates

I chose to use the LCAH spring plates instead of the MAN-A-FRE kit. I had met Ross years ago at Clear Creek when he used to be down here, right when he first came out with his shackle reversal kit.

Anyways, I modified his spring plates in the rear because my Skyjacker springs are narrower (at 2.5") then the stock Toyota springs. I could have 'side shimmed' the fronts a wee bit to fit the Rancho's tighter there, too, but I didn't think of it, until I slightly bent the front ubolts when tightening them.

If this is clear as mud I'll take some pictures and send them to you, or if you ever want to come pick up that 2F valve cover....... you could see in person.

After moving my rear axle back 3" from a 55spring install, I started looking for a replacement (shorter) rear drive-shaft. A longer replacement front drive-shaft was also on the list after an sm465 install.

I haven't forgotten about the VC...I just really wanted to make it down to SJ in my cruiser.

Are you going to the fj45 run over labor day?

I appreciate the info...it looks like these spring plates are the ticket.
