I am finally getting back on the horse again and going to complete my long-term project. I have a full set of FJ60 axles that I bought completely disassembled that I plan to run under my 78 40. I was able to pick up a full 4x4labs Hi-steer setup for an FJ60 which I know I will have to modify due to the shorter drag link tube, but I am looking for some input on knuckles. My understanding was that the Trail Gear 6 Shooter knuckles would work on an FJ60 axle, but I am finding conflicting information now. If they will work, are the 6 Shooters really that worth it with the FJ60 axles already having that much larger of a stock knuckle? I have done a search, but found far more opinions on Trail Gear as a company than the actual info I'm looking for.
