FJ55 headliner replacement...

Has anybody ever actually replaced the headliner in their 55 with an original-style replacement? I mean, with the bows, and window seals and everything?

I'm wondering if it's worth the inevitable hassle to work with an original fabric replacement, or to just cut away the old one, toss the bows, and screw up some thin/flexible plactic or fiberboard panels.

Any thoughts? I searched this forum, but didn't see anything specific to Pigs.

More specifics in the FJ55 section. But Specter sells a OEM style replacement that works pretty well. It is a PITA but not that bad..

This is a good place for the stuff that Pigs share w/ 40's (driveline, etc)
