I'll try to dig in and figure out what I did there in the next day or two for you.Jmack, looks like you milled out your own bushings. There is a nice pic on 47 of a nice and pretty pile of newly made bushings.
Thanks that gave me a date that I ordered the parts.Jmack, looks like you milled out your own bushings. There is a nice pic on 47 of a nice and pretty pile of newly made bushings.
Got those parts on the way. Thanks!
I couldnt find the part number for the snorkel though.
I am probably going to be asking some questions on this project. I did it a long time ago using SOR's plastic bushings and the original pins. Was tough to get them out and then I realized that there was a particular direction they came out and there was some, how do you call it, splines on one end.
When the parts come I'll be a cry'n out.
Should be good for those who know as little as myself.

Ron, just got a set back from him a couple weeks ago for new pig, so he is alive and well-anybody need his contact info, pm meThe guy from Alabama doesn't rebuild them anymore, as far as I know. He was the only one that sourced the new springs. I used new Forty bushings and the Napa pins, I think.
Something like that. If you're talking about J Mack's reamer, it will ream (drill) out the bushings to the correct size of the pin. They do a better job than just a drill bit.Was that Migcanic, or something like that?
What the heck is that thing? I guess I'll find out!
