This has been soo much work and it’s paying off, I’m beyond blessed for this experience with my employer, unfortunately it will be my last event with this company as I will embark on a new career I’ve only ever dreamed of.

Yes sir, it’s been a great place to work. Almost 10 years. I accepted a final offer from a fire department and start academy in a month! I’m 34 and wanted to do this before it was too late.

Congratulations and good luck . I freaking hated going through the Fire academy and after i did my 20 and retired I moved to Oregon and decided i still wanted to play But Oregon does not recognize FL So i had to go through the Fire Academy again lol But they actually had me help teaching the class that time . Its all mental have fun .

This is outstanding news. Congratulations. X2 on which Dept./district? I have some great connections with the Denver Fire Department at Denver International Airport if you are ever interested in seeing their setup. We’d want to meet offline to discuss/strategize.

Had a solid time hanging out with friends and even brought my dad along one day. Got to check out Grizzley lake, iron chest, and Chinamans. I do seem to be having some problems with my 4:1 I need to sort out.

Yeah. I cut down the aprons a couple weeks ago but ran out of time to figure out the hood latches and mounting of the aprons. Probably in the coming weeks or maybe next spring.

Question - does the front tube guard block much throw of the headlights? I want to build something simple, but it looks like many of them would block some light if they really follow the body lines.

Maybe a touch. But they are so much brighter than the stock sealed beams so it probably doesn’t matter

They are JW speakers. Love them! Not sure I’d buy brand name again, the Chinese led ones from Amazon are decent quality, I have them in another car.

I was having a noise that would increasingly get louder the longer I was out then lessen when it cooled down. I was very nervous it was something wrong with my 4:1 gears.

Luckily it wasn’t, looks like i lost a bearing in my h42. Fluid in the t-case was perfect. Now to weigh options, rebuild, replace, or h55f. Obviously an h55f is the ideal choice but a touch out of my budget. Any repairs will have to hold off till spring time anyways.
