Here is my 1976 I drove in college. I would bet that is as clean as it ever was, must have rained. That is my brothers 68 red one. I hope I can track down some pics of my 1970 I drove in high school. It was black with a half soft top making it look like a little pickup. That was in the very early 80's and you never saw a jeep or a cruiser with a halfcab soft top.
Thank you guys for these great pictures. I've been restoring my 40 for over a year now and get tired and disgusted at times especially since I restore cars for someone for a living. I'm doing my 40 all by meeself and it get's discouraging at times but friday and Sat nights I love knocking down several Mooseheads and looking at all these great pictures, it picks me up!

here are some pics of my 76 fj40 a month or so after i bought it. Right after i turned 18 and started working, was the first thing i can say i worked for in life.

Man, these are some great pics. My son is 1 1/2 yrs old right now and I hope to be able to get some pics of him in ours. I have to change the fuel pump out and I am going to put another starter in it because the one I have now is dragging. Once those things are done, we are gonna be rolling again. I had let it sit for the better part of that year and a half but now that the son is starting to get a little older, it is time to go. Buddy of mine said it shouldn't be hard at all to install power steering. That is gonna be a hoot.
Found a better picture of my brother's 68. Still cannot find pics of my 1970 one. Love the white pin stripping. I might to that on the 80 I am starting to restore. My 70 was black with similar pin stripping.

84's - Pics from brazilian magazine: Quatro Rodas - Testing the brand new Toyota Bandeirante 1984 with new Mercedes Benz diesel engine OM314 and new front grill, other new feature was the 4speed synchronized gear box and new transfer case whith 4WD Hi/Low ranges
The very 1st one, sitll named LC arrived in Brazil on 1951 - Pic from Toyota
and this is an AD from 70's with the hole line available:

This is 1977 and we are exploring a disused railway tunnel in the Rimutakas near Wellington:
And this was taken inside the "Summit Tunnel" on this "Rimutaka Incline railway track"
PS. This railway is particularly historic because of its steep gradients and the method the steam engines (called "Fell Engines") used to gain the necessary traction.

New photo but old Cruiser
I took this on a hunting trip in Africa, This truck has been on this farm (120,000 acres some farm A) for a long time, I forgot the year bot its 60s ish, they did there own mods right on the farm with what ever they had so they could go more places in the Kali. desert, All the farmers over there only use Land Cruiser,s. It's a bad place to be stranded by your truck so dependability is everything.
