FJ40 Mods to Help Flat Towing?

The tundra also has a round connector on the back with marked pins in it for R and L turn signals, brake, etc. I am wondering if I get the right connector and wire the tow lights to this it would work correctly and give me L and R turn signals.

I believe there's a brakelight controller behind that connector that will have series diodes that will prevent the one blinker from lighting the other and the brakes from overriding the blinkers.

I will make some calls tomm and figure out why the hell I can't get the lights to work correctly. I think that I should be using that round type connector.

I use a STOWMASTER Tow Bar built by ROADMASTER.

It is rated for 6,000lbs.

Make sure you tow with something really heavy; dually if possible. I looped my wife's fully-loaded Suburban once towing my fj40. It was no fun and expensive. Dually-only for me now.
