Thanks for the invite GIN!!!!!! I can drive the leg to SF across the GGB That would be pretty epic

Yeah sorry it was a last minute decision... But let's definitely plan on the Golden Gate Bridge route. I'm hoping we can get a lot of 40's on that leg.

I am trying to make it work on Sunday morning the 19. Monday would work for sure but I assume that will be tough for everyone else?

I think you would get a lot more participation if it were Sunday. Thanks for making that effort!

Let's just make it for Sunday around lunch! Easier for one to adjust then a whole group. Does that time work for you?

Ok just confirmed that Sunday will work! For the folks coming from the Bay Area I’m thinking we should meet at Fort Point for an amazing Golden Gate Bridge shot from right at water level. Meet there at 10am 11/19. Then we can drive to another Golden Gate Bridge view point on the north side of the bridge on Conzelman Road. Then meet for lunch with @69 4 fun somwhere up there for the baton/toolbox handoff.

@CaliFJ @Racer65 @jocww @Fast Eddy @mcjb @cc93cruiser @Norcal MP @80FZJ @whitey45 @antFJ

Who can make it? Please tag other NorCal guys...

I added the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum decal to the toolbox! @cruiserdan thsnks again for the amazing tour!!!

Sweet! The city of San Francisco should stop all traffic when the forty's convoy over the bridge!

I figured you were a long shot since you aren't technically in the "Bay Area". That is a long haul...

Our leg to Mono Lake through Yosemite was 8+ hours total time with probably an hour of site seeing/photography... No freeway speeds for a lot of that (and not like we can go 65 comfortably anyhow). I think about 6 hours back with a quick stop for lunch. Good times!

Trust me, San Francisco will not appreciate our gassers polluting their beautiful city. Never mind the bums on every corner. It's emissions from 40+ year old trucks that are the problem :deadhorse:

@ginmtb Great write up, and great trip! I never doubted a moment my fuel sitch :hmm: Count me in for the 19th. I'd suggest we head up Hwy 1 and have lunch in Bodega or nearby, then cut over to Santa Rosa to pay homage to the fires. I've been working through TeamRubiconUSA.org to assist in Disaster Recovery. Everyone going could bring a few supplies to the victims. The devastation is incredible.

Just put a Bernie sticker on the bumper and fly a rainbow flag. You'll be golden.

@ginmtb - Why don't we plan to roll over the GG Bridge and meet up in Stinson Beach at the old Sand Dollar Restaurant. Or we could go further up to Bodega Bay. I personally have to be back in Walnut Creek by 3:45 as my wife is doing our daughters Bday party at 4. So the Santa Rosa idea is out the window (atleast for me). @69 4 fun

That should work - by the time we finish at fort point and the other vista point and then drive to Stinson it should be around lunch time!
