If you use the rear locker for your 60/40 you will also need to clearance the housing a little bit for the locking mechanism to operate correctly. Only takes a few minutes with a grinder.

Door Hinge Limit Assy Pins replaced.

I think the wearing of the pin causes the doors to crack.

I checked my other rigs and they were worn as well so I replaced them on 3 of my rigs.

5/16" x 3/4" is the corect size. The news ones in the pics are 1" and I used them for the door side tabs.

I think the front is interchangeable with mini trucks. But never quite sure what you mean by min truck (Hi Lux)?

we see down here Hi Lux front and rear with 8" standard rotation R&P until 97 in USA IFS start in 86 .. ? but are the same rear ..

there is a variation on the rear for V6 and turbo version ( 22RET ) with a rear 8.4" R&P .. IIRC

the hi lux here swap to IFS in 98 with a front 7.5" camshell 3rd and now with the new that use 8"

Thanks for the input. I did not know 80 series thirds would even fit in a 60 housing. I thought they were interchangable with the mini trucks.

I just put one in the front of my 62. The 80 rear will work in a 8.8" full floater cruiser axle (i.e. front of a North American market truck) with a long spline axle shaft on the appropriate side. Used e-locked diff, HJ61 long spline inner and homespun harness ran me about $600.

What do you have for lockers in your current 3rds?

So I could put an elocked 80s/100 series 3rd into a 60 series 3rd? Dan this would work for you too.

nice page!

Oh boy, it's gonna look good :)
