Fixed top FJ45....farm find... swb I think. (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

well I just bought another FJ45, It is a fixed top with a few mods from original but is a runner and has great patina and very little rust. It appears to be a swb, I just want to clean it up and do what I have to to get it registered. The only thing throwing me is the data plate chassis no... FJ45-24817 which says it is a 10/65 model. Can't get to the actual number on the chassis yet but will find that when I get it home. I assume the plate has been swapped as it is pop riveted on to the firewall instead of the screws.

nice find, looks like the engine may have been swapped also.
It sure looks like a swb model, I thought all fixed top models were swb.

how is your fixed top going. I just picked up one myself and interested in other Australian SWB FJ45 projects. Yours looks pretty clean.
