Hey everyone! Been lurking tons.....and on the hunt for many months for the right FJ62. Many came and went...and for one reason or another...just did not fit the bill.

I was lucky to get a line on a truck that a customer of TLC 4x4 was looking to sell. It had been serviced by them for the past 15 years...engine and tranny rebuilds...OME suspension...exhaust...new BFG A/T 31x10.50s...and a host of other items done over the years.

I made the 5.5 hour drive down and back (11 hours in the car in one day!) to check it out and decided to make the move before they marketed the truck. TLC had to do a few more things to get her ready...brakes, bearings, and a full tune....and I was able to head back down a week later to drive my baby home.

I have had her for a couple of weeks now and could not be happier. Other than repainting the hood...she's in great shape. The interior is practically flawless....and the exterior has a few minor dings here and there...nothing out of the ordinary.

Luckily things seem to be mechanically in great shape, so I can try to do a few cosmetic things...but honestly, I am just enjoying her as is for now!

Enough chatter....her she is.......

Dang that's shiny

You should swap out those supertones for some nice junkyard caddy or merc horns :o

That engine bay looks like freeking new! Welcome to the club!

Great looking cruiser! My 87 FJ60 was freshened up by TLC before the 2nd owner bought it in 1997. 17 years later, it's still clean and running strong!

Awesome looking cruiser mate, jealous:D

Wow that is awesome. I wish my engine bay looked like that.

Need sunglasses - so shiny. With chrome pipes under the hood, however, it should have a turbo. Please get on that right away, ok? ;-)

very very nice!

what are the miles on it?

and your engine bay pic forced me to go out and de-grease and pressure wash under the hood this morning.....now I am going to have to paint some stuff.

Thanks for all the comments!

She has 202k on her... And yes, she's quite shiny :-) I do plan on decroming her....black wheels, bumpers, and roof rack. Plenty more I'm sure!
