I give you a lot of credit. You take your time, research and make decisions based on best available information. I'm watching with interest. A new lift is in the distant future.

Did you install the supercharger and are you running the 1st gen land tank maf?

Thanks. I really don't know if what I am collecting is right or not. One bad piece could ruin it all. The supercharger is waiting on a few pieces. Close though. Right now I'm running the OEM MAF until Rick is ready with the Gen 3.

Just ordered up OME L's from Christo because I'm running out of time and I want more time to experiment. I'd rather run $400 worth of shocks and at least have something working than have $2000 worth of shocks and feel buyers remorse. Shocks *should* be here for the weekend so that the 4" can go in.

BTW, I have a clicker so just ordered a $570 birfield from CDan. This better last another 300k miles.

Damn it!!!

Send them, I can cancel from Christo :flipoff2:

Hahaha.

Waiting on Radflo's, now. More than welcome to, but it may be later than your deadline, plus I de-Aussified these with Rustoleum Flat Black.

If you didn't try the new ones, you'd not appreciate the difference between OMEs and quality shocks, either.

To everyone else that's PMing:

I KNOW JOEY AND WAS JOKING, BUT IF YOU WANT THESE FOR FREE, FIND SOMEONE IN NEED AND GIVE THEM A CRUISER,

then PM and we'll talk.

I'm always on the hunt for spare birfs. I have a few now so not in a big need. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I will have three trail spares after this install. Just let me know, its yours if you need it.

I wasn't serious about taking them. I think its prudent for me, and for discovery's sake to know what new OEM feel like (which I did years ago), what OME L's feel like (which arrive in a day or two) and what a really good set of Brand X shocks feel like.

BTW, I'm laughing at the vultures looking for free s***

BTW x2, last I heard the truck is still doing well but they broke the ONLY key I had for it.

Hahaha.

I know you think you're too good for sloppy seconds....

Plus, 80s Tech is dying for more threads. Hahaha.

Actually, I agree and have practiced similar on the previous build and know that:

OEM was good, but too low and stink buggy.

ProComp might as well be a solid rod, since that's what it rode like.

King is the best on road ride quality, equatable only to my old '71 LTD, far surpassing any of the GXs I've owned.....,but DON'T expect a return call, email, or smoke signal.

Radflo's are great, both on and off road, plus I can call Glenn right now and be treated like a $250k trophy truck owner, not that I had to do to issues outside of a guinea pig set up on previous build.

I was, too.....on the first two. Hahaha.

Still the coolest thing I've ever been a party to, even though menial, and left me all warm and fuzzy during a time of year I normally feel like an ATM.

How many do you want?

Ok got the sway bar stuff from Slee. It's the rear drops and the front blocks. Once I get Landtank's extended rear links I will take a look and see which direction I will go with it.

BTW this Slee stuff...SUPER beefy. Love it!

Same what I have. Slee=good stuff;)

Sent from my hawn finga using IH8MUD

You'll regret the $400...and I'd have sent you these for free.

Can look at it this way, though. At least you'll know what $1,600 difference will feel like.

I'm guessing you are going from the old style OME shocks to the RadFlos? I'm referring to the old style vs the new "Sport" OME shocks.

Just curious.

Yes, i got the same blocks from Slee, VERY nice quality!

The shocks i bought from Slee which were the "Sport L" are supposed to be a major impovement over the old OME's

However, i decided since i am running a very high end progressive coil (Frankies) that they deserve a nicer, more tunable shock.

I am probably going with DSM for Fox or Radflow.

I would do the Slee's but they are just a little out of budget and i believe they are valved for the Slee coils?
