I think so.

I agree with this.

And don’t grind more the the casting mark off the top of the control arms

All the info has been gone through here many times ! I see that your new but all you have to do is ask or do a google search and it will bring you right back to MUD with multiple answers to any question

AGAIN don't grind more then the casting marks off the tops of the control arms !!
Yeah I’ve been able to find everything i need on here by doing some digging so haven’t had to post but i guess what i found on this topic didn’t feel like it was exactly what i was looking for lol should’ve dug harder. Thanks guys.

I also think the @eimkeith radius arm drop brackets are worth consideration. There's something to be said for changing the pivot point for the arms - any sort of leading arm suspension benefits from links that are as close to level as possible. Drop brackets improve this in a way nothing else (fancy new arms included) can do.

^^^ this 100% But at the cost of ground clearance. If your not rock crawling a none issue.

If no brainer equals "price is no object", then well, yes, Delta arms are a no brainer.

I run Landtank caster plates on my 80 because my 80 budget isn't sufficient to afford Delta arms.
Yep, in the price category the arms are a tad spendy but are a bolt on solution. I always thought the plates were kind of a band-aid. That sounds bad and I am not casting aspersions on the product, just wasn't my cup o tea. Like painting an 80 pink, I just don't think they look good. And no, my cuiser is not a pavement pounder, Its got more desert pin striping on it than miles!

Buy once I Cry twice....
You will also need/want with your 4":
Whiteline rear sway
Delta's panhard bracket
LCP or landtank rear swaybar drop kit
Dont forget taller bump stops

In no way are caster plates a band aid. They were doing a great job long before Delta even existed and at a fraction of the cost.
And there certainly not like painting your rig PINK and for that matter some people might like pink it's not my cup of tea but hey 🤷‍♂️ who knows.

Broski, I just meant to say they "look" like a band-aid. Again, I know they work, it is an option, but is an option I am not fond of. This is kind of like the arguments about which tire is best, or which rig is best, or even blonds vs brunettes. In reality, there is no right answer, just personal choices and compromises. I personally just like the arms better. Why? Looks or just a feeling. As to the blonde vs brunette argument, I like brunettes, however I am married to a blonde.

Definitely let your sense of aesthetics override years of successful personal experiences from product users. And then recommend that to people on mud and act as if it was a technical issue with the product. Awesome.

Sorry team, I was not bashing the plates. If some of you took it that way, so be it. You can't argue the delta arms are a great option. If some of you got a little hurt for it, check your feelings at the door. I like the arms, I have not seen anyone have anything negative about them other than $. I have seen negative comments on the plates, such as loss of ground clearance. To that point, the arms also appear to lose some clearance but appear to be easier to slide over an obstacle. To each his own. Isn't that what this forum is, sharing of opinions and solutions?

Not All plate solutions are created equal. But it's common for people to group them all together and assume a negative comment about one is a negative. comment about all. I'm sure that if somebody started to claim issues with the Delta Arms based on issues that they've heard about with other arms and had zero experience with Delta arms, People would be vocal to make sure that everyone knew that wasn't the case. And they would be right to do so, In my opinion.

One thing plates can not do is move the axle forward to its original location or further in order to fit 37”+ tires without a 10” lift or sheet metal removal behind the tire.

If you buy plates get the kind that rotate the axle around it’s axis not the kind that rotate the axle around the forward arm bolt axis otherwise you will have a tie rod to leading arm clearance issue. Been there and after grinding over 1/8” off the top of the arm still wasn’t completely in the clear under all circumstances.

Not all arms move the axle forward 😎 there are other ways to move the axle forwards.
Not many running 37s
Not against custom arms refer to post #8
