We are definitely late to the game, but Father’s Day is this Sunday. I assume the usual event is happening. We have no solid dialogue about it. I can go if we have action going. Post up if we have some traction. Old Fart Bob, Stumpy, and myself are usually the regulars, but lots of guys have joined in for the great event the past 4-5 years we have attended.

How early does it start? Will probably bring my dad along with me to check it out

Registration is day of... but we tell them we are registered and find our spot! Then register at the tent.
We go early... like meeting in Warrenton just outside downtown at 0630.

I'll probably meet yal then, since the 200 isn't anything special to register

They have a category for "Best Cruiser" so we're sure to win!

That is literally in my backyard, but I'm out of town.... on a good note if you get a set up spot by 2nd st or 4th street you will be in staggering distance to the pubs or the new Cider house.
BTW the cider house will have Divine Swine BBQ there. They make an amazing spicy pho bowl

So Bob I take it that this means you are in, and you will be once again monopolizing the trophy for best Landcruiser in a borrowed rig from your spouse? I thing it’s high time you showed that beautiful 40 of yours with that shiny new tub and paint job.

There's a slim chance I will bring the 40 but it's not the most "pavement friendly" vehicle.

So who else is in? It's a surprisingly good car show with a wide variety of vehicles and breweries and a cidery within walking distance.

In addition to the weather, there may not be room for walk ins. "While it's possible to register on the day of the event, street capacity may not allow late registrants." There were 186 vehicles last year and they have more than 200 pre-registered this year. We're still planning to go as spectators but I'm not getting up before dawn only to get turned away at the gate.

Don't you old folks get up before dawn anyways?

I'm convinced that only happens in a house with hardwood floors and somebody trying to sleep on a lower level. Those leather soled loafers ain't gonna shuffle themselves!
