Well, you show up early and just let them know we pre-registered, find our spot on the main drag, then go register at the tent.
Forecast is 87* with PM scattered t-storms and showers.
I say we try our hand. We are usually early enough to snag spots regardless.
I'm up for an adventure.

We know the front part of that plan works. What if they don’t have a booth accepting walk ins because it’s sold out a peak capacity? I do think somehow we will weasel in, so I’m up for the adventure too.

Well, if we are parked, it will be tough to get us out. Also, not all registrants show.

If we get in any trouble, we can tell them we are with the Bascom family. They have probably dealt with Bascom’s breaking rules and being a menace in Warrenton for decades.

If you saw the ivory Porsche 356 convertible that won a trophy, that was a buddy of mine.

I didn't see a 356 but I did see a sweet '65 Datsun pickup.

I didn't think that the bumpers were originally color matched tho.

That's Doug and his son Chris sitting in the chairs on the sidewalk. He has been restoring 356s for decades. You should see the outlaw he is building right now. The purists hate 'em, but hot rods are cool.
