Planning wise... have a strange opportunity if anyone wants to take advantage of it.

When I was making the fiberglass enclosure for my rear quarter panel subwoofer, I thought it would make it easier to turn a car on its side and you could make the mold without gravity being a pain in the A$$. Well, we will likely be able to do this after a little slice and dice this week. I likely will make up one more enclosure, if anyone else wants to do so, let me know. Please note that we will be cutting it up further, so this would be a short term offer.

Super excited to see how this turns out. Been meaning to tackle something like this as well!

I like it even more. Can the sunroof. Not needed on any LC. Go ahead an flame away. Can you believe this kid's Dad is putting in the time and effort to do this? Kudos X 10. You go 2fpower!

The present is the past and the future. Go man, GO. This kid will be wheeling when we are dead. Take every day as one you might not have had.

Niiiice. I'm in the process of closing in the cab on my topless 80. Not having a top and doors was nice, but it's going to be a lot more functional with both.

I'm looking forward to this build?

Thanks to @Willys43 and @7powernerd we made some big changes today. Will remember this Christmas eve for a few years

I should also think @spartan @half k cruiser , and others that have purchased parts off of the Rig, to support this budget build. If anything is needed from the interior drivers chair back, let us know. What a big week for us, my son earned his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts, then we cut his car in half!!!

Action pics. Joshua drew first blood on the build by plasma cutting slice on the roof. I believe we'll call that the point of no return. Only unplanned event was We had to get some dry ice to pop off the insulation on the floor where we decided to cut.

So the plan is to use the rear tailgate from Sequoia so we can rolled her window down. Thanks go out to @SammyT08FJ for picking this up for us. Also thanks should go out to @CrowleyFJ40 and @tornadoalleycruiser for inspiring us to find a rolldown window. Here is about the position, however it will be four inches higher, after we weld the sunroof shut. The cardboard box wants to approximate the truck bed, and keep us from looking at the bottom of the Sequoia hatch curves back in, and does not look right. Will skin it to make it look the way we want it.

Time for research. Anyone know where I can find a sequoia wiring diagram for the tailgate? Need to figure out how to make the rear window operable and isolate the rear window DeFroster. My plan was to pull the wires going to the rear door lock and the windshield wiper arm; however, Josh just asked if we could keep the wiper arm. Hmmmm.

Man that is one fine young man. This the maybe the best Christmas he will ever remember. If you could swing it somehow selling more parts, this sight was made for that weapon and more one day....

A lot of awesome here. Extended mag release come standard on that model? Slap on some Tech Sights and your golden
Good Eye seeing that mag release. I reached out to a company that makes those and personalizes them and ask them if they had anything for Boy Scouts. One of the designers and owners is big into scouting so they created an Eagle Scout emblem and personalized it with my sons name and troop. There are some really good people out there in this world.
