Factory Soft Top Needed

May be in the wrong area so feel free to guide me at will. I just recently purchased a factory soft top 65 without the hardware and top. Does anyone know where to pick one up? I have searched threads on here but found only - Ge-Top - Gives your Legend a Top - 2.6.18 and I cant get through to those cats. Are they still in business? All help will be appreciated.

I wish we could "pick one up".....I think the "US Softtop Possibility" thread might give you some hope though on the aftermarket......

Ge-Top is the European distributor for Ehsan.

As far as picts, will get those up as soon as I get home and take some. Got her last weekend making some awful racket...metal on metal noice from the bottom end..after dropping the oil pan....notice hmm, dry as a bone crank??? Took off some of the bearings and dry too....well, cleaned ye old oil pump gasket and flushing new oil through her system, she is a runnin pretty good for a 50 year old. It is all stock from what I can see and not in too bad of shape. Has the tailgate (which daddy likey) and thats about it...no top, no seats, you get the idea..new seats will be here Friday and tune up stuff is here today. YEAHHH!!!!! original paint is under 13 cans of black rattle can so I have been trying all weekend to get that sh*& off....think she is gonna need a new coat though back to the original sea foam green...... more to come.

Was yours this color? This soft top model FJ40 showed up to the Bakersfield rally a couple of weeks ago. I think the story was that it had sat in a garage for 18 years and had belonged to an uncle (original owner). I liked it so much I gave the guy my Ehsan Bikini top to put on the soft top frames he had in the garage.

I always enjoy seeing an original FJ40.

I think that would have come with an off-white vinyl top from the factory. I would look great on that truck.

I installed it and wasn't satisfied with the way it fit over the 1st bow on the door frame. The velcro didn't look like it was going to line up. I wasn't planning on using it anyways because I have a SOR family top in addition to the canvas top. It may have been fine with adjustment but I didn't want to waste time on it.

Missed the bezel myself!
