I have a set of front fenders purchased new at the dealer LONG ago. Never mounted. (main fender, not the upper part) Brand new, OEM.

What are they worth? I want to pass them on to a good home so they can help make someone's restoration perfect. I want to be fair to the buyer, but I also need to get a decent price. Fair is a two way street. Since they're unobtainable, I don't want to give them away, but at the same time I'm not going to pretend they're priceless and ask something crazy.

Anyone know what I should ask for the pair? Fair to both buyer and seller?

Thanks in advance for the help/opinions.

Always a tough question. What did those fenders go for from the dealer when they were available? 400 bucks? Each? Whats a fender for a 60 or an 80 or a 100 go for? What year are the fenders for? When were the fenders made? I might guess somewhere between 200 bucks and 400 bucks each, depending if you need money or Karma more.

The year is a relevant question. Do they have the cut-out for the side marker light?

I would be interested in a back up passenger fender, depending on year, and if you are willing to split them up!

What is the story on these? How did you obtain them?

I usually look at $OR, see what they're asking for a similar item and cut it in half. In my opinion, that 's 'fair' to both buyer and seller. As these are NOS and 'discontinued' and used fenders are $220 on SOR, I'd say your's are worth at least $500 for the set...

I need a drivers side fender so I can't tell you what to ask. But when you get a price please give me a chance at it.

Someone else got a decent used one near SoCal?

Thanks.

Just checked this thread and sorry I dropped out of sight. Super busy and had a family reunion I was attending.
First off, thanks all for the input and replies. Most appreciated. Second, I really didn't intend for this thread to be the advertisement for the fenders, but if someone wants them before I post the ad, that works too.
Give me a few days to get them out of the loft, identify the part numbers for the year shoot some photos for those interested. I'll get that done and if no one on this thread wants them, I'll post the ad then.
Thanks again for all of the comments....

OK, finally got a moment to get these down and photograph them. They're dirty, but I did wipe down the outside.
The good news is that they are brand new, never mounted. The bad news is that there are no part numbers on them that I could find. There is some strange cloth duct tape type tape on the insides and perhaps that used to have paperwork with it. Pablo Cruise, I don't think these have the side markers you want. These were ordered for a '75 for what that's worth.
I took a ton of shots, but can't post them all. I'll post the main ones to hopefully give you and idea. They're dirty on the insides, but I didn't want to hose them off and start the rusting process, so I left them that way.
Here you go...

Well, now during photo upload, I get this message:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

I have no idea what a "security token" is.

I dislike computers...If you jet a carb, it's cause and then effect. Each action causes a reaction. On a computer, you do the same thing twice, exactly the same way, and get two different results. Frustrating.

I have about 8 more photos but not sure what to do...:bang::bang::bang:
