It looks like Toyota is bringing the front locker to US. Not as factory option but the carrier assembly are available to purchase in US.
Part nunber is

Not a bad price either

Even cheaper on PartSouq. ~$1600 shipped.

Need to fix the approach / departure angles and ground clearance before even considering front lockers unless it's just for bragging purposes.

Not a bad price, at all….Just need the $100,000 vehicle to go with it
Supposed to fit LC250/GX500/Sequoia/Tunda and maybe even 24 Tacoma too. Don't think they going to put smaller front diff for 250.

For sure. But that does not seem to bother GX460 owner. They cut up the bumper and get pretty decent approach.

Trying to keep the MPG high while achieving better approach would be the challenge.

Cutting / Replacing the bumper falls under "fix".

Assuming this would also be for the new GX since it was posted here.

The platform is the same so most likely the front diff are the same. The rear are the same 9.5" as the one is 300 series.

Nobody that is leaving the vehicle at stock height would need a front locker. This is for people that complain that there are no front locker option to compete with Wrangler and Bronco.

Are these internal electric like the Tacoma rear e-lockers/Eaton design? Or?? I haven't been able to find even a good image of one opened up nor have I had my hands on one ever. What is the locking mechanism?

Should be a factory option along with 35's on a trail hunter model.

I'm not so sure that is the correct part number for the 300. If anything, it might be (41110-60E20). Personally, I wouldn't assume the front differential to be the same between the 300 & 250, at this point.

@Jetboy Yes, it is an electromagnetic type locker (i.e. Eaton)

Better chance of the GX being more similar to the 300 but I wouldn't order anything based on the assumption.

Toyo diy might have it wrong as it shows sama part number for locking and non locking.

The PN for locking differential will show as such:

I've always wondered why Toyota doesn't just install the front Locking diff at the factory, just leave it disabled in the ECU.
If you want it enabled, go to the dealership, buy the switch for $50, sign something saying you understand the risks and how using the front locker affects your warranty (if applicable), then they enable it in the ECU. Or have it automatically enable after warranty expiration, you add the switch and you're up and running.

I know many other auto manufacturers do something like this, build 1 car and then enable/disable features based on what you paid for, and then can add later.

That part number is not a live part number in the US parts system.
Thanks for checking that. I guess lexus parts now got some outside connection or similar geek like us that really dig into the parts calatog.

My bad. I checked the Toyota system. I don't have access to the Lexus system. Any Lexus specific part numbers for the North American market can't be "seen" within the Toyota system. So, this PN might indeed be available from a Lexus dealer.
